TET For The Poor with AAA Assurance Corporation

The theme “TET For The Poor” founded in the year 2001 by Ho Chi Minh City Police Newspaper in conjunction with the assistant of Mr. Ngo Buu Khanh (Owner of Restaurant 241) has being in application for the past 10 years. The initial “TET For The Poor” program was held at the Restaurant 241 (45, Pham Viet Chanh, District 1, HCMC).

On the date January 15th. 2010 evening, a special tribute was given to 100 member and guests of Ho Chi Minh City Police Newspaper for the purpose of seek willingness to contribute toward helping the poor program.

On behalf of the Organizing Committee, Senior Lieutenant Colonel Tran Kim Tham (Chief of CAND Newspaper Representative Office, Ho Chi Minh City under the authorization of Major General - Nguyen Huu Uoc – Writer/General Editor of CAND Newspaper reported the coverage of the program with highlight on Charity Works being conduct in the year 2009 whereby the Charity program were highly appreciated by donors and community.
On the same occasion Major General Nguyen Minh Dung (Deputy Director of Police General Construction Forces Department - Ministry of Public Security) expressed his appreciation toward the charity activities of CAND Newspaper which is supported by businessmen for period of years to now.
During the same event, Mr. Le Van Kiem (General Director of Long Thanh Golf JSC - Dong Nai Province) who were unable to attend contributed VND 450 million whom has deep concern of the program “TET For The Poor”. Such contribution were consider as humanity concern expressed by Mr. Le Van Kiem.
Madam Do Thi Kim Lien (Chairman cum General Director of AAA Assurance Corporation) whom is also the newly appointed Honorary Consulate of the Republic of South Africa in Ho Chi Minh City has also perform such humanity contribution through her representative donated VND 50 million for the program.
