To the poor at South West border

On the date January 22nd. 2010, the delegation of Ho Chi Minh City Police Newspaper lead by Mr. Tran Trong Dung (Deputy General Editor) together with the AAA Assurance Corporation (An Giang Branch) and V.W Saigon Club members visit and donated 400 sets of Vietnam TET Festival Gifts amounted to VND 80 million for poor households folks located at An Giang and Kien Giang Provinces. These TET Festival gifts are donated by Ho Chi Minh City Police Newspaper, AAA Assurance Corporation, V.W Saigon Club, The Union of Ho Chi Minh City Tax Department, Minh Nhat Lawyer Office, Vinatex Supermarket District 11 and etc…..

Appreciating the effort of all donors, Ms. Le Kim Truyen (67 years old) of Thanh Luong Commune, Ba Chuc Town, Tri Ton District was emotionally mentioned their gratitude toward receiving of the gifts. Thus, the emotion is further extend to the wellbeing of Ba Chuc Town, Tri Ton District People Committee for organizing the event and realizing the reality.

On the occasion, Ms. Yen Linh (Deputy Director of AAA Assurance Corporation, An Giang Branch) expressed that such TET Festival Donation deride from understanding the need of help during such important event of the year for helping required family that AAA Assurance Corporation always and applied for its company objective for helping the poor. Further and above, V.W. Saigon Club members were total unhesitant to ferry the gifts from distant Ho Chi Minh City to the event location of 300km.

On the same afternoon, delegations visited Lac Quoi Commune and donated 150 sets of similar Tet Festival Gifts to the same poor family of the location. Mr. Tran Hoang An, Vice Chairman of Lac Quoi Commune People's Committee expressed his sincere gratitude to the delegations for the concern of poor family in remote areas.

Dated January 23rd. 2010 on the morning, delegations visited Ha Tien Township, Kien Giang Province and conducted similar donation of TET Festival Gifts to poor households of Phao Dai Ward, My Duc Township, Tien Hai Island Commune.

On January 24th. 2010, delegations have further enhances the contribution of TET Festival Gifts to pupils of Disabled Children School located at Tan Dien Village, My Long Commune, Hon Dat District, Kien Giang Province whereby the school was founded by Father Nguyen Van Viet cater for 144 disable children prior for the end of the donation activities in the region. Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung - Chairman of the V.W Saigon Club representing the delegation group handed VND 6 million and also TET Festival Gifts.
